Description:
On January 28th, President Bush signed into law the first major expansion of the Family and Medical Leave Act since it was enacted 1993. Some of the changes to the FMLA take effect immediately, so employers that are covered by the FMLA should immediately modify their leave policies accordingly. This document (see download) is a discussion of the new FMLA amendments, designed to help employers administer the new leave rights that the amendments create.
